On October 12, 2022, at the intersection of Markham Road and Elson Street, our world changed forever. A tragic crash claimed the lives of Nila (23) and Paree (21) Puvanendran and left their mother, Srirathy Shanmuganathan, critically injured.
Their father, Poobalasingam Puvanendran, could have stayed silent in grief. Instead, he chose action. From heartbreak came a mission: Drive Safe For You—a movement to honor his children’s memory and fight for safer roads for everyone.
We will always keep Neluxsana and Pateeran’s names alive, honouring their memory through every step we take.
Safer driving habits save lives, and through education we strive to create awareness that protects families and prevents future tragedies.
We work with local police, not against them, supporting training and safety initiatives that strengthen our communities.
And above all, we stand with every family who has experienced loss or injury from a crash, reminding them that they are never alone.
